Sunday Getaway To Sunway
Normally Sundays’ are great, but last Sunday was just fantabulous!
It all started some months ago with a promise to go for a long awaited movie, but as the dateline crept further and further away, our craving for donuts took over instead and we just throw all hesitation out the window and planned for a one day trip to Sunway.
I had this friend (whom we shall call P for my safety LOL) whom I get to know some 210 days ago from an event we both worked in. So P and I had this same urge to grab some JCO’s during the weekend, but from “this weekend’ it got postponed a couple of times due to both our hectic schedule.
That day would be last Sunday..
P’s parents are more afraid of her driving skills than getting into the car of some random guy so I get to drive her to Sunway. It’s also a chance for me to know where my friend stay. I always make it a point to know where friends stay so I always have company for yam cha wherever I go.
First order of business is to meet up with another friend of mine. Celine whom I know from college. Celine knew P longer than I do so I got her along as P’s safety guarantee (aka bodyguard) but she went AWOL to catch another photoshoot. DUH! Next time I’ll need to check the details of our appointment to include the evening as well ;)
So with the limited time we had, we managed to grab a bite to eat at Wendy’s.
Wendy is not as glamour as I thought it was. Maybe it’s American but I feel that McD had a better corporate identity comparatively. At Sunway’s Wendy joint, the chairs are from Ikea, the wall deco is non standard, the menu is a piece of paper, they used Faber-Castell pencils and the soda cups looks like someone got yellow cups and stuck the Wendy logo on it.
After Wendy, Celine went photoshooting in a place far far away. But as far as lunch goes, it never did stop for both of us. Maybe cause both of us had metabolic rates equalling the fuel consumption of a V6 but a little loitering later and we’re thinking of movies, popcorns and soda. TGV is packed so we went bowling instead and that made it worse. We end up hanging out in JCO and went into a long deep discussion of future career opportunities and the fields a cham major can work in (and NO I did not invite her to EY!). Some JCO later we actually walked across the floor straight to Old Town Coffee House, goes a long way to show loyalty when you walk from a coffee house and into another!
Yawn..
-={Continued on the 29 July}=-
LOL YES! I did not finish my post and yeap, I saved it to draft and went off for TV. Blame me on being a Gemini. :P
..so we went JCO and had a nice long talk with aunties and uncle’s eaves dropping on us like spies for Batman.
We took photos of course but not of the catalogue variety for JCO. I’m sure their wallpapers are faded from the number of flash photography taken in their premises so we kept ours short and simple..
!!! TADA !!!

^ Those ain’t my fingers but those ARE my d|Nuts. My second time having JCrown Oreos but I still find Pavillion’s slightly more fragrant by a factor of .23%

^ P wanted a nice warm picture of the d|Nuts and so here it is, artificially warmified through use of the sunny auto white balance setting.

^ Ooo look! Yellow Balloons!
Dang! Forget what I said about the .23% differences but when it’s served by a pretty girl on 2 hands with a smile, who cares if it’s not donuts!?
An exotic tea meets sexy milk makes you feel
in a paradise of lovethirsty-Seen carved on a table

^ Yum.. plates included.
~~~~~ PS2P: We really need to catch that movie on our next round!
