Thoughtful Gifts From Afar

Just today I received a gift from someone somewhere over the oceans. A gift for my convocation held a couple of weeks ago. Yea it’s a little late but then since when does air mail ever comes on time? Not that I mind.. :)

I’m also trying some other form of photography. Something that doesn’t require the use of a camera or other fancy equipment. Say, a scanner?

Specifically the use of a flatbed scanner with the top open for an even lighting + dark background combo. I can even make a gradient effect by shining light on it.

Back to the topic of gifts.

For someone to make time and send me a thoughtful gift is no small matter. So it is only appropriate that I should show my appreciation by giving equal effort in blogging how much I liked it. And no better way than to take lots of pictures.
