Horrifying crash on the way back from KLIA
Yesterday I witnessed a shocking scene on the way back from KLIA.
I took a cab back home and was travelling along the KL Putrajaya route. The driver took up his walkie and started chatting with his buddy on the line.
Didn’t really bothered to hear what they are blabbing about as I’m dead tired from the flight. I only knew my cab driver was telling the guy on the line to go get some sleep and that it wasn’t worth it to take another fare. Then unlike the previous conversation where you’d get a click and more chatter, this time it was a click-click-STATIC-ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
It was 10 minutes later when someone radioed in and say there was a crash somewhere ahead of our route when I saw it:

^ Sleepy cab driver fell asleep and rammed his head on the guardrail. My cab driver was there (guy in black).
The scene was so horrifying I didn’t get closer to snap another picture. I know it was bad cause the amount of blood on the streets tells me so. You can only get closer to the scale of 10 on doom when you paint the car interior red with skull matter.
The guardrail had grazed his skull with the word grazed used generously. When the doctors took him out (alive), one side of his skull was cracked open and the other was bleeding out the cracked windows. Talk about in between 2 hard places.
Last I heard the guy was on his way to Putrajaya hospital and no news on his survival. I hope he survives and learns his lesson. Driving while doing anything but driving, kills!
I wish the authorities here would implement water drums like highways in the united states to break the impact. Over here those drums will be crashed on, smashed on with such regularity that there would be no risk of aedes mosquito ever breeding in peace without being splashed all over the scene.
